King's Mill Hospital, Mansfield

This £310m project was for the re-development of an existing hospital facility run by the Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Trust. Operational constraints dictated the phasing of work. Phase 1 included the Diagnostic and Treatment Centre along with the Energy Centre and Towers 1 and 2 of the Ward Blocks. When the existing buildings were relocated, Phase 2 of our work continues with the Women’s and Children’s building and Tower 3 Ward Block. Both phases of work will included ground bearing and suspended concrete slabs, insitu concrete stairs and slipformed service cores.
